Josh40601's Build Thread. (D-ranged)

I still want to see what it looks like after you take it through lions den like you said you were going too. lol

Okay, Josh (and all that follow this thread), I need ya'll to dig through your scrap pile of tubing if ya'll would...I'm needing 2 small pieces of tubing, one 1.75" OD .250 wall, 4" long (or two 2" long pieces) and one 4" piece of 2" OD .250 wall (or two 2" long pieces) I can't seem to find anyone that would cut just those pieces so I can make a set of bushings...I have the urethane bushings, just need the sleeves..Can anyone help a fellow TRS'er :icon_confused:

I hope the scrap sheet metal you have is not the one that was supposed to be on the truck....:D

Thats why you have a street truck. One for the street, one for the trails.

2wd is gone. I have my 68 and this. 68 doesn't get driven in the winter

Jokes on you! That didn't even work.....:annoyed:

Tube bed FTW :headbang:

I still haven't decided for sure. I always go around most of the tight stuff because its too big to fit (that's what i tell the ladies too :D) so i may just do that, or throw an exo and tons like originally planned, or just LS this one, and build another beater. I don't want to start all over from scratch though. You can find a pretty capable RBV with a SAS already done for 3-4 grand. There are 2 explorers on this site that are for sale that already have SAS.

No, its scrap from a 78 GMC that a buddy turned into a wheeler. I just used some metal for the hole in the bed.
