Josh40601's Build Thread. (D-ranged)

I'm not. I am building a plate to go where the filler neck used to bolt to, then running my air chuck to it. That way it is out of the elements, and easy to access, but you don't see it unless the fuel door is open.

That's a good idea:icon_idea:

In the flexing pictures, it looks like your leafs are flexing more then the front springs.

Yes, I mentioned that I am still annoyed by how the front is not flexing as it should. A buddy of mine gave me the contact information for a guy at Offroad Engineering, I'm going to talk to him and see if we can get the front end figured out.

On another note, I noticed today that my drag link is EXTREMELY close to the tie rod now that I lowered it. Looks like I will have to back to the factory pitman arm.

After 3 weeks and still no doubler, i'm filing a complaint with Paypal to try and get my money back. This is fawking pathetic. How this guy still has a business is beyond me. If anyone has or knows where i can get a DD kit used, please help me out.

Bummer man. I am going to talk to someone tomorrow about having a stock shaft cut down. I'll let you know how it goes if you are interested.

I really want his kit. It is a great product, and it works great. I have only heard of 1 person on all the forums i am on having a problem. Just pisses me off he is such a shitty businessman. Paypal said i would have my part or my money back within 10 days though.... So lets see what happens

Yeah I understand. It is a great product from everything I've read.

Funny, I submitted that claim, and Duffy called me this time. Told me he was sorry, said he would ship it today or tomorrow at the latest and he would give me a call with a tracking number. Soon as i get that, I'll let you guys know.

sweet.. kind of bittersweet that you had to go thru all that crap tho..

Funny how that works out.

Did he give any explanation as to why it has not shipped?:dunno:

his dad was boxing things up and shipping them out, but he didn't know what hardware kit went with the kit i ordered, so his dad never shipped it.

I told him that i understand you're super busy with building the house and everything, but i hate when i leave a message and my phone call is never returned. That to me is just bad business. He said he understood my position and he went on to explain that he gets 20-30 messsages a day and after a 10-12 hr workday he doesnt feel like spending an hour going through messages, then another 2 hours calling everyone back. He said he just deletes them.

He did say that he was extremely sorry to everyone how he has put his customers second, but once he gets his house built (after the summer) he will be back in action at the shop everyday. He also said that he is hiring an assistant to help with all the admin stuff.

doesn't matter if he is building a house in my opinion.
he just DELETES his customers messages?? really???
that is shitty business regardless of whats going on. i've dealt w/ people that have called me back even when he lost his father, he just called and said what was going on, he called 22 people that day. that's customer service!

bad customer service, over anything, spreads fast and will hurt a business quick! my outlook on DD has changed b/c of this.. and one day i was gonna order a doubler.. still might, might not.. who knows
