I have one on my 08 3.0 automatic. It does raise the rpms before shifting, but I cannot say by how much as I have never bothered to install a tachometer. One of these days I'll get around to it.
I have an aftermarket intake (MAC) and a custom exhaust, so mainly I wanted it for the slightly richer mixture it provides.
