I've been wanting to get keyless entry for my truck as well. I have power windows and doors though. Do you?

I figured I would just get a car alarm that has keyless entry. They're around $200ish.

I love keyless entry ...... that was 1 out of like 5 things I liked about the minivan.

nope i have manual everything, they have 2 kits, one for the keyless entry part (thats like 40 bucks) it has the remotes and receiver for a doors that have power locks put no keyless entry.

this kit has the actuators, remotes, and receivers for my manual doors for $80.

That sounds like a good deal then, if it has the hardware to convert it to keyless. Getting the actuators with the kit is definitely a cool thing.

yeah just ordered them from jc whitney, acutators and remotes and the whole 9 yards, $100.47 fedex ground shipping. the kit was 80, shipping was 20 :/ im excited.

Certainly. Just takes lots of pictures and go over what it says to do in the instructions.

More stuff in the Tech Library is always cool. I'm sure other people have thought about what you're doing. It may help them make a decision.
