Hi everyone. I have a 2007 3.0l ranger and i want to get jba header. The question i have is what part number do i get? There website shows 02-06 without egr and 98-01 with egr, which doesnt make sense to me. Wouldnt the newer rangers have egr not the older ones? And if so will 06 be the same as my 07?

Newer ones dont have egr. I think the 06 will fit 07, can't quote me but im sure someone can chime in.

Also maybe check the search function. Not being an ass just saying it may be somewhere in these forums and someone may already have answered that.:icon_thumby:

Ford quit using EGR on ranger's around 02, and then started using it again on a few around 06. You need to confirm wether your tuck has egr or not. As far as fitment is concerned, anything 98-up should work once you get the egr figured out.

ok i checked and i do have egr on the driver side. so i guess there are no headers that will fit then?

you can mod egr headers by welding a plug in the egr hole. i did it for my dads b2 when he installed headers

You can use any JBA's with egr for any year 98-up. Or you can buy an SCT tuner and get rid of the egr altogether, and use any 98-up headers you want.
