how soon would you want a manual case frank , i have one out of an 88(?) BII , its a 1350M , but i comes with the case , shifter/linkage , boot , and front shaft with new U-Joints , plus all the bolts , i just want out of it what i have in it , and i would bring it down with me in march for ya

Everything on my B2 works great, I'm just looking at upgrading.... to bigger and better than stock.

I will try to make it to Jons saturday, if his wife gives the ok, we will be welding my rearend sunday in case i have to work late....... cows will die if it snows and we don't take care of them. I'd like to have both the tire-rack and the handle (I've never owned a b2 and have no clue how they come apart, at all....)

Frank

lol im not married yet...will be though in june

He buddy I can get you a spare tire mount. If you are coming to jon saturday. Say $15, if that a fair price. Or the pull it yard has several, But they have been picked through. Just let me know. I have a latch to but have no Idea how to get it off.

does the 93 still have both front and rear axles???

A couple of things to know about the B2 (Allen, I'm sure you know)...the rear hatch is all fiberglass, and the factory spare tire carrier will split the rear hatch at the spare tire latch, and its a pain to keep it sealed after it splits...The rear factory driveshaft will fail with any decent flex, an upgrade to a u-joint style driveshaft is highly recomended. I speak from experience...I know, you ask yourself that I actually had a B2:icon_surprised: Yeah, I did and I liked my little B2, here are some pics I dug up from my younger days, early 2000 IIRC...

Look Ma, Twins!!! I wish I had a bigger pic of this one, me and my cousin had identical year, identical paint jobs, his was a standard, mine and auto, only difference, Mine is on left with the custom lightbar mount I made, you can't read it, but the license plate on the front says "Friends don't let friends drive chevrolet" 3" BL, 2" suspension on 33x9.50x15 BFG MTs

Jon, thats kool, I need some wrench time as well, I need to drop my trans pan, its leakin pretty bad...I'll bring enough firewood for the day:yahoo:

John, you might want to steer clear of the 93 D35s, 93 and 94 are the years they had the hybrid axle

ahh....was just jumpin' in there for Allen....we need to get him upgraded soon:icon_thumby:

only thing i am interested in for myself eventually is some D35 beams...wanna possibly do a cut and turn....

right now don't need anything mechanically....just install the Expo springs and build me a rear bumper and then some sliders...

if the 35 is out of an expo it will be good they all had full 35's

Well guys, we won't be working on SVT this saturday:sad:...As of right now I am officially starting my V8 swap!!:yahoo: Thats right, my trans finally went south when I started heading up north just now:bawling:, barely got back to the house, but at least I didn't have to tow it home!! So now, first and highest priority is to locate either a C4, AOD, or 4R70W...I prefer the 4R70W, but I will need the engine harness, computer, and trans harness to go with it...To update those who don't know, I have a 5.0L H.O. from my 89 mustang, with the computer and harness. I have a BW World Class T5 in my mustang, so the C4 or AOD would work, if I have the kickdown cable to go with it the trans...I can get a trans at the pull a part in nashville for $50, which might be my cheapest option...

bummer...you still going to come down saturday or staying to work on the truck?

I may still have an output shaft out of a C-5.let me know if you need it for a C-4.
