I just picked up a full width 44 housing :headbang: I was reading a while back, can't remember which thread, but it said that James duff makes coil buckets that are space out to match the full width so I dint have to move the buckets at all. Any parts numbers or links to these? I found the ones he has four classic Broncos, but aren't those wider than a ranger?

I am not sure which ones are correct. I didn't even know he sold SAS parts.

Anyway, you could go with another direction like I did. Instead of moving the coil buckets out, I moved the axle wedges in to match the frame. This will only work on 77' and earlier D44's. 78/79 had a one piece design. You will get more tire clearance at full lock. So no rubbing tires on radius arms. A downfall I had/having with mine is it moves my straight radius arms between the frame rails and not underneith them.

I know the Duff buckets you speak of. I had a tough time finding them. They're pretty pricey, and you may want to go with RuffStuff buckets instead. I'm full width and I spaced out the buckets using rectangle tube. Your frame widens out on the driver's side right where the power steering pump is. I've seen all kinds of workarounds. Lemme see if I can find the links to the buckets.

And I refuse to post Ballistic Fabrication's product, yet they DO have one if you dare going through that company.

It is a 78 front end. I could just fab some up or put in some square tubing in between the bucketand the frame. I've seen that done on an sas. What's up with ballistic fabrication?

ivw got duff buckets on my truck that are ment for the ranger frame and a d44 swap. they work on a eb44 .

Search Google for "Pirate4x4, ballistic fabrication" if you want to know.
