Who's using them or has used them? What's your opinion on them?

not worth the price unless your using plus four or some other exotic plug.

that is on a stock engine.

you have cranked up comp ratio or forced induction combined with a good aftermarket box on carb applications go real good.

Agreed. Forced induction will be the only reason I upgrade the ignition. My buddy actually met a guy at the track over the weekend running a 9 lb. Vortech with stock ignition that was running 12's all night long. Car was a 91 Fox Notch.

I acquired a mileage master and ultra coil several years back. I hooked it up to my 5.0 in my ranger. It runs good. I was wondering if they're supposed to be motor specific. For example V6 or V8 models. I tried looking it up but couldn't find much info other than the new models. I used a wiring diagram for one of those to figure out the wiring for the one I have. It was on a 2.9 when I bought a Bll back in 04. I havnt had any issues with it do far but if they're known for going out I'll take it off.

I have had a few. They do work for awhile. Then burn out.I am done with them.

I have a couple in non-RBV in use for decades, they are all older ones (not Mr.Gasket or who ever bought the name).
That box & coil don't care how many cylinders you have.

Oh sweet! You wouldn't know how to hook up a tach to it would you?

Any tach hooks up to the negative side of the coil (switching signal).

I've tried that. It reads 2500 rpm's while at a idle then when I rev the motor up it drops to 2000. I read somewhere that some ignition systems need a resistor installed for the tach but now I can't find it or anything else that says it.

Are you useing the factory tach or aftermarket?

A after market one. I think it's a Sunpro? It has a switch in the back for 4, 6,8 cyl but it doesn't seem to be reading right. I'm kinda frustrated with it cuz I'm not sure what to do.
