They're just plain cool...:headbang:

And my dad agree's...double:headbang:

Good luck most where destroyed because of their fuel tank exploding problem. there are station wagons around.

I had one that we built into a beach buggy back when I live in Lake Havasu City.

All I can really find is station wagons, they're cool too, but not as cool as the runabouts. If I get into another rearend accident, 2 in 4 months=two sets of perfectly good bumpers:annoyed:, I wanna die anyways, I wont be able to pay for insurance...and if I die, I'm going out in a blaze of Pinto glory

i once rode in a pinto wagon with a built 460 stuffed in it.....scary scary ride. had to have a chain wraped around the motor and frame in case it broke a motor mount off. it did that quite a bit

You may find a nice unrestored one in the Sunbelt. Check eBay and Hemming's, Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA if you're not real far away. All the Pintos here in the Salt Belt rusted away long ago.

This is kind of funny I saw one going over to my sisters house It looked like it was in pretty good shape. It was the hatch back kind that is all I know. I will drive by there again and see if it is for sale and if it is get a #

I had a 1980 Pinto myself back in high school. It was the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned, but I still loved it.

Never owned one, never even sat in one, yet, but I love em. 4banger compact with RWD, what's not to love, even the chance of blowing up is fine with me, every one needs some risk in ther lives. You can even buy a 5.0 conversion kist for them too, not saying I would do it right away, but you never know. If I got one, it would be any year(perferably the 79-80) hatchback, unrestored but good body and a good runner so I can DD it without much effort. In fact since I would have an economical DD I would probably look into putting a V8 in the ranger instead of just rebuilding the 3.0.

Yeah! Rallye!! :headbang:
