89 Ford Ranger 4x4. Was a 2.9 v6 and the mistsu 5 speed. Now it has a 5.0 HO. Weiand stealt intake holley 650cfm 4bbl alum 54cc heads keith black flat tops lunati voodo cam not real lopey but pulls like crazy. 289 hi-po manifolds same flow of any set of headers i looked at. flow was much better than the popular headman ones for the v8 swap. they come out at the ears of the block and allows you to run you exaust straight back with a few pound of the hammer to get rid of the lip on the bottom of firewall. Oh, and if you dont have a body lift these manifolds will not work. Radiator out of 93 explorer works great with electric fan from crown vic in grill. had to move bottom of radiator towards front of core support due to clearance issues. remote oil filter. NP 435 4 speed manual with a BW1356 TC. custom crossmember. 3" body lift and 8" skyjacker susp. lift. stock 3.73 gears 7.5 rear and dana 28 frontrear driveshaft out of 88 bronco with a c6 and front driveshaft out of 97 suburban 4x4 back drivshaft had to be shortened like 3" and the front just needed combo joints. I know my axels are weak from the get go but they have suprised me cause they have been under the hammer in some deep deep like bumper deep:icon_bounceblue: mush and still drove it home. 39.5 TSL Super Swampers. I have lots of pics but cant figure out how to post them here from my computer. any help would be great. thanks for reading

you need to upload your pics to a photo host site like image shack or photo bucket then post the image code. looking forward to seeing some soon.

sounds like a great setup!

so what did you run for the clutch? cable or hydraulic? i'm looking for ideas for mine

stock ranger clutch master cylinder. slave cylinder and line for 87 f150 4x4 4 speed the 5 speed are internal slave cylinders. works great.kind of a pain cause there wasnt much info online about using the 4 speed. everything i found was about auto and 5 speed stuff. This was a project that took a lot of patience

From what I could hear, It...sounds...AWESOME!!! nicely done. I like the red accents on the engine too.

the rush sounded good.

it dont do bad my brother followed me up the road the other day to see how fast i could get her up to and i gave up at around 80 cause i couldnt take the shakes from them tires. i had way more to go but thats for another day when i get new rubber. anyone got some fresh 38 or 39.5s for sale

bias 38 or 40's suck when they are new.

my 42's smooth out to a tolerable harmonic around 65.....real smooth at 80.

under 50 they are rough....under 35 they hop down the road like a herd of crank induced frogs

my front ones are pretty much shot but thats ok just extending the life of the dana 28 front lol. mine hop pretty bad once i get going not to bad at low speeds

Wish you were close to east tex to help me do mine.

that is awesome! and i cant believe you were hammering on it like that with 39s and a d28!!! ive shreded dana 28s with 235s!
