Just finished up the wifes car so it can be on the road, and the BII can get that 5.0l soon.

I used 5star hotrod black primer(HVLP)
All in all im about $1,500 in to this honda. picked the bumpers and hood up for dirt.... like $220. still needs side skirts and some work on the inside.

Traded an 86 Husky cr/wr250 (that i paid $400 for) for the 94honda in stock form with the insides gutted.... like that would make it any faster..HAHAHA. (D15b2=about 40mpg)

This is the wifes car, but it turned out ok so i thought i would share.

The car only has 140,000miles and a fresh trans. new stage1 clutch kit, H&R 2inch drop springs, obx header no cat and 3inch exhuast....and its still a slow ass honda!

Also i think the wife wants to sell it, yesterday she said something about wanting a CJ? so i think im going to post it on craigslist for like $2,800.

The bumpers look good, but the hood....:bad:

No matter what you do, it'll still be a Honda. :D

hey It may be a honda but atleast it is not a Ridgeline.

Take the hood off, hehe. I like it other than that, I appreciate any form of building, looks decent though.

Put a "Type R" badge on the rear and it'll sell instantly :D

Might want to hang onto it a bit longer though, just in case gas goes nuts later this summer.

I used to own an old Honda, a 1986 Accord DX. Is this the ugliest car ever built?

I think it's right up there! But, it was a great car - nice handling with the double-wishbone suspension (go 13-inch tires), got 32 mpg, and had no mechanical issues to speak of. I bought it in 2002 for $1,600, drove it for 35K and sold it in 2006 for $1,350 with 180K on the clock. I drive a 2002 Civic now that's dependable but not nearly as distinctive.

Hondas are very well-engineered cars, but trucks are still something the company still won't do (I don't count the Ridgeline).

I won't even fault the Ridgeline - Honda built exactly what they wanted with that truck and it does its job just fine. It was never meant to be a heavy duty work truck. I'd love it if they also built a one ton truck to diversify the market a bit, but that may not happen any time soon.

Don't knock those Honda's. Crap box's, yes, but not only do they go but they go waaaay farther then they should, and they do it cheaply And they can be fixed cheaply and easily =>

oh and I've owned one of those 86 Honda' had the worst steering I've had in a Honda and a 85.. and a 87.. and a 88... and a 92... but .. read first paragraph.=>

BTW where did you find that one without a butt load of rust? Honda's don't live extended periods of life in Canada the salt eats them from the inside out.

My last vehicle was a 92 honda Accord. It was an arizona car from the start so the dash was slightly cracked but there was zero rust. My 99 ranger however has light rust here and there because its from San diego, CA. I miss that little car. Hondas wont die. I only got rid of it because I wanted a truck which I am happier with but if gas hits 4 bucks a gallon again I may buy an old honda to commute and drive my ranger on the weekends
