PMR Machine I think

The guy's name is Jim and he worked for Car Quest/Ponders for years -Car Quest wanted out of the machine shop biz so they parted ways and sold him all the equip CHEAP. So now he operates out of a small shop near the Tacoma Dome (Portland Ave exit then left behind the Arco AM/PM next door to Nu Tread used tires) he is boring blocks for 10 bucks a hole. As for the cam ,he and DELTA CAMS picked the grind-it is supposed to be one step hotter than stock so it idles well and lots of vacum but it seems stronger than stock -and Duane ,you can't imagine how cheap I am and since I don't do any work on cars I would not ask the techs here to turbo that truck but for alot of folks reading this he is right -if you can put in the forged stuff you will be saving headaches and labor later

Roger that. Paying someone to turbo a Ranger WILL cost a small fortune for sure.
I would say more then $4 k in parts and labor. All the prefab, and fabrication in general for the plumbing would cost.
I wont mention how easy an EFI V8 swap would have been, or how you would have gotten at least 15-17 mpg from it due to the torque produced from the V8 versus the weight of the vehicle and the torque it takes to move it if you keep your foot out of it, and I also will not mention the cost would have been about the same as the stroke build.
Oh and the hours and hours of fun you would have had driving it......mustang owners you could have pissed off.........cheby guys you could have waxed........
