I possibly thought the cats coulda been clogged so i unbolted the exhaust and it still pops through the intake and has a rough idle. Nearly everything on it is brand new. Head, spark plugs and wires, egr sensor, tps sensor, Only thing i think it might be is injectors, maf sensor, or possibly a fuel pump. I did a fuel pressure check and i believe it was around 40psi? It was last summer when i checked it. Thing is when i take it drive it seems to drive fine. I think it possibly needs a new clutch as you can hear it through the shift handle and don't hear it when you engage it. But that's possibly because that's how its suppose to sound?? Idk? Lol. Heres a video of it trying to start. You can really hear the pop. And Ive checked the timing and its on the dot. Once it starts to stay running its rough and low idle. It seems to drive just fine though. Just has a hard time getting running.

Did you check to see if it was throwing any codes? I'd also check the coil packs because your situation sounds similar to one that was on here a while ago and after replacing everything found one of the coil packs was cracked or otherwise broken...just can't remember what exactly it was...but the popping sounds familiar and is probably generating an error code...

It did throw codes. It threw a egr sensor code and tps sensor. Both have been replaced. Ill get it running tomorrow nice and warm and see if its still throwing codes.

EDIT: So I found out its throwing 4 codes. 157, 172, 211, & 218

Now i found out what they mean. But whats the way to fix them??

Well, here's the skinny on the codes:

157: MAF sensor circuit below minimum voltage. FIX: Replace, not clean, MAF sensor.

172: Lack of oxygen sensor switches, indicates lean condition FIX: Replace O2 sensor

211: Profile Ignition Pickup (PIP) circuit failure. Not sure on this one, but my guess would be to: FIX: Replace ICM

218: Loss of Ignition Diagnostic Moniter (IDM) signal--left side FIX: Replace ICM

Also, when you do replace parts, make sure to reset the ECU back to factory specs to re-learn driving parameters. To make sure this is indeed the case, if you want, reset the ECU and see if it's still throwing codes. If it is, then it's time to replace parts.

Alrighty then! Thanks for the help man. Wheres the ICM located??
