hi all, hoping you can help me w a problem I am having w my truck. The truck does not start every time I turn the key. When it does not start, there is no clicking sound, or attempted cranking. I keep the clutch depressed the same amount each time , key on and off on and off and it eventually starts. The battery is fairly new (2/11), alternator is from 6/11, starter is from 5/09, and solenoid is original. I replaced the cable going from solenoid to starter. Truck starts if solenoid is jumped with screwdriver with key in on position. I've cleaned terminals on the solenoid and also cleaned off the spade on the back of the starter that the cable leading to the solenoid bolts to. Any other ideas?? Flat spot on the starter??
