Long story short. My battery died. I replaced it and my belt since it was squealing. I replaced my alt. Jump started my truck. It runs fine except it isn't charging. Any suggestions?

Bad cable?
Blown 125A megafuse?
I can send you schematics, PM me your e-mail address.

Got a voltmeter?

Take it to an auto store and have it load tested.

A DMM test will only be effective if it were recently charged.

put the old alt back on, see if it charges. alts can be bad from the get go.

Before I start the truck the battery is at around 12.4 once I start the truck it drops to around 11 or so. I checked at the alt and while idling it's showing around 20. This means that something between the alt and bat is either disconnected or blown. Correct?

I've been looking at the wiring diagram and saw that if the 125A mega fuse is blown then the link between the alt and bat are severed. I tested the fuse and got nothing. I'm hoping this is the only thing wrong. I'm going to replace it tomorrow.

What do you all think?
