I was fixing my brakes, cleaning up the back of the aftermarket "ultra" aluminum rims, and noticed that the "left" was on the Right and vise versa!

I had my wheels on backwards, according to the rims.;missingteeth;

Better check to make sure your turn signals are not switched too...and your wiper blades, and maybe even you seats?!

Some rims are marked left and right because the pattern on them are reversed of each other to allow for air to be pulled into the brakes, or be pushed away from brakes. In city driving it won't make that much of a difference, but if you do highway driving with lots of hills, it can cause brake fade to occur more quickly. Its pretty uncommon for rims to be designed like that, but ever so often with aftermarket rims, or the odd OE rim you'll find that.

I have four lefts...

Now I know where my two spares went! :nono:

You will have to talk to the guy I got them from as a set of four at a swap meet, maybe that is why I got them so cheap?
