Alright, so I have turbo off of a 87 turbocoupe and I'm not smart about these things at all. I got it when I had my 2.3 and was rushing into things, and since then I now have a 4.0 4x4 lol it was a big enough difference for me so anyways back to this I have..

the turbo
throttle body
top mount intercooler
downpipe w/ o2 sensor in it
and the vam with bracket and plug

I have no idea about any turbo stuff so I just want to know if its worth anything.

You have an IHI turbo, very common but not really in demand for these, as there are plenty floating around....I have 3 of these and a 4th thats in pieces...the TB is useless, the IC and VAM are good to someone doing a turbo swap, but you need the rest of the harness and ECU to go with it...
SVT

the turbo will be decent for someone doing a daily driver turbo swap, they will likely want the rest with it, how much would you want for the downpipe? any pics?

i can get pics of the downpipe, and i have no idea how much hahah. but what else would i need with my stuff to do a simple daily driver swap say i was to pick up a 4cyl i know i would need the exhaust manifold, and i know with the stock ecu, you can boost like 5-7 psi but could i use the stock wiring harness, and just wire in the vam and then run like a oil line either tapped to the block or a t-fitting to a return line? i wouldnt be looking for much power it would be more to say hey, i have a turbo hahah

if you want a cheap daily, get a manifold, turbo ecu, and appropriate vam and injectors for the ecu you get, then repin the ranger harness for the turbo ecu and add in wires for the vam, and get forged pistons if you want it to be reliable,
as for oil lines you use a t from the oil pressure sensor for the feed, and drill a hole either in the block or oil pan for the return

well all of that doesnt sound too hard and im guessing sound is the key word there lol chances are id probably never get around to it =(

Im pretty sure if someone was willing to find a custom header that turbo would be good for any dd aplication including 4.0 ranger. Ive seen the cheapo mistubishi turbos used on v-8 for mild boost. It will have a good low end as it will spool rather rapidly from the ehat expansion of a 4.0 as opposed to a 4 cyl, but it can be done. its worth about 100 bux by itself on craigslist. Someone will buy I assure you. But might be worth hangin on to.
