You make a good point. I would have but didn't know if anyone else was interested and, being new, I didn't want to break protocol. The topic hit on my situation at the time and seemed to expand from there. I also didn't want to strike out on my own and lose context in case someone like me was looking for the same info. The things I learned from that thread helped me move forward. I wanted to support it with my own experiences.

I get it, and that's cool. I think It's ok to bring up an old thread to add info, but if your looking for help most people will look at the date and realize how old the thread is and just skip it. If you're looking for more info than whats in the old thread, its better to just start a new topic to ask your questions since people are more likely to pay attention and respond to a new thread than one from 2007. Plus when the thread is that old, the original posters may not even be active members here anymore. That's just how I see it.

If it doesn't run, we'll rig up a tow bar and pull it with a Tesla. Or maybe two or three, with a prius for a pusher....
