If this is it, which 2 wires are for the 3-4 solenoid?
The red and which other?
If I use an ohm meter across the two what should the reading be?
Thanks!

The TCC and 3-4 shift solenoids share the same 3-wire connector on the side of the trans.

1 wire will have 12volts when key is on, this powers both solenoids.
Then 1 wire is the Ground for TCC solenoid, the other is the Ground for the 3-4 solenoid.

The computer Grounds the solenoids to control it.

Drawing seen here: http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...e-wiring-help-for-the-t-c-lock-up-switch.html

Ohms test would be from 12v connection to that solenoids Ground connection.

A solenoid is just a coil of wire so very low OHMs, when grounded the solenoid's coil becomes an electro-magnet and pulls(or pushes) on metal rod.

That connector and the grey one next to it are the cab side of what I call the Transmission and Engine Gauge harness.

I typically have to describe it when Explaining to someone how to get their starter to work after they've swapped in a 5sp trans to replace an automatic.

Mind if I steal your picture? (To simplify explanations to others)

Not at all, Go right ahead, So the one i'm pointing at IS the A4LD solenoid plug?
I have no reading with ohm meter, (suggesting bad solenoids?)

Are you sure that isn't the Neutral Safety Switch wiring?

Both solenoids showing "no connection" could happen, just isn't likely
