is this muffler any good?

i have a 20 dollar budget (summit racing only) so if you have any suggestions please post them up

Ive heard that the walker exhausts are meant to replace oe mufflers, and that they are a "quiet" muffelr. but I could be wrong thats what I heard. I had a thrush turbo and it is the same exact design as the raptor. On my truck it was abrely louder than stock but Idk what it would sound like on the duratec

Please tell me you intend to throw them out to save yourself trouble. Those filters are horrible...

Please do not use Fram oil filters! I have already had experience with two bad ones so far in my 10 years of wrenching. One, my brother was changing the oil and filter in a Pontiac that I sold him. When I saw he was putting a Fram on it, I said I had heard bad things about them. He ignored me and did it anyways. He said the oil light started coming on almost immediately and he ignored it because he had just changed the oil and knew it was full. The filter collapsed inside and starved it for oil, which seized the camshaft up in the head (2.0 OHC). Two, we had a Chrysler Sebring come in at the body shop where I did mechanic work. At idle, the oil light would flicker or even come on and stay on. He wanted us to put an oil pump in which would have been a MAJOR job (2.7 engine). I saw it had a Fram on it and suggested changing it first just in case it may be the problem and only took a minute. I put a Napa filter on, and the problem disappeared, and the owner drove the car for several years with no problems until unfortunately he passed away. Needless to say, neither me, my boss, or my brother have used a Fram oil filter since.

Fram filters have come a long way. I am no longer scared to use them. Read this: Clicky!

I use nothing but Motorcraft on mine. The Walmart's here have them for about $3.50, which is only about 75 cents more than the Fram's they sell.
