is this as bad as i think it is?


You can weld up the crack at the surface, but you can't weld the part of the crack that's an inch down into the block. The crack will keep growing, and leaking fluids.

i found a 96 mountainer with a 5.0 at the you-pull thats still mostly intact, gonna pull that in the next few days hopefully. they just moved and dont have their hoists there yet so they arent selling any engines yet. got it get it before someone else does.

i wish, the guy just told me " its not goin anywhere" so unless someone brings their own hoist im hoping it will still be there, goin tomorow to pull of the exhaust and a few other parts, might get the wiring harness and ecu for when i finally switch over to efi so i can pass emissions, not worried about that now since ill be in mississippi a few more years.
