Ok when the engine is all warmed the idle gets about a 100rpm kick every 2 seconds or so and goes back down around 600rpm...when doing this the volt gauge moves up and down with it too....so i disconnected the IAC when it was all warmed up and running and the rpm didn't change much...the idle kicks seemed to stop too...but when i reconnected it, the idle kick up a couple hundred rpm then went down...Is this the IAC at Fault?

Also my fuel economy kinda suck too....don't have the numbers though.. would this be related to a faulty IAC???

Is the A/C on? If so, turn it off and see if the problem continues.

This sounds more like the HVAC control is set for defrost. The AC compressor will kick in then out so that during the winter theR-12 or R-134a will circulate.

This could also be one of those things that you have to live with for the rest of the truck's life, but hopefully not.

It could be IAC. The quick test is that if you unplug the IAC while the engine is running at idle and the engine bogs down then your IAC IS working. If the RPMs don't change then it's most likely bad.
