had a problem with my clutch a little was told to pull the clutch line off the slave and check pedal for firmness. when i disconnected it fluid blew out everywhere and i dont remember that before. when i pressed the clutch it had no pressure. any ideas whats broke here?
thanks in advance

I'm not familiar with your year truck but from what I understand you should still have pressure in your line after disconnecting from the slave. I would try filling the master, and with a friend to help, press the clutch pedal while looking at the line to see where the leak is.
Good luck,

Richard

ranger that use an internal slave cylinder have a check valve in both the salve and line to prevent fluid from leaking

It is possible that a piece of dirt got stuck in the check valve on the line stopping it from sealing
hook it back up and try bleeding the system
