I'm swapping to a Dana 60 hp front and a sterling 10.25 in the rear. they will both be leaf sprung. I am planning on running 37's, but one day may run up to 42's. Is it worth trussing the axles? I have seen some smaller axles bend and flex. With the cost of Dana 60's i'd rather not trash the housing. It is going to be a play truck, with a small block. Playing in anything and everything.

you can if you want to. you aren't going to bend them though if you don't.

If you plan on getting airbourne I would, otherwise save the weight and hassle and leave them as is.

i have not trussed mine...the rear is fawked up now.

when i actually start using them to thier full potentials they will be trussed first.

i run 44 and 42's...just no hard core wheeling yet.(no cage)
