Is it bad for the clutch when...


I could be completely wrong on this as our trucks have a 10 year difference but thats my 2 cents. Good luck with it

There might be 10 years between them, but almost nothing changed in that time. The rest of your post was spot on.
 
Conventional bleeding will NOT get the air out of these M5OD master cylinders, you have to do a combo of bench bleeding and gravity bleeding which means taking the MC out of the vehicle! :mad: :flipoff::temper::pissedoff:

Hmm, I've never had to remove the MC to bleed a clutch system. My method only takes a few minutes and always works great????
 
When i did the clutch , the directions said to take the MC off the firewall and to tip it down to bleed. Worked fine.
