This seems to be a firefox related issue. Even if it's letting you access other sites. It would be interesting to have someone that uses firefox, try accessing it with a different browser such as Google Chrome, and see if they can get it with a different browser.

Not sure if you can get OneNote to save a screenshot to a file, but you can def use it to get your saved shot onscreen.

From there, at least 2 ways:

- use the Snipping Tool (Under Accessories) to do a screen gab, then save it as a jpg and use the attachment (paperclip) to clip it to your reply to this thread. If the TRS attachment gives you grief about having to many pixels, open the jpg in Paint and Resize it (70% worked for me) and save it again before attaching. Or try saving it as a .gif from the Snipping tool in the first place.

OR
- with the image onscreen you want to screen-grap, Press <Ctrl><Print Screen>, then open Paint then press <Ctrl>V. The entire screen will be open in Paint and you can Select and crop out the piece you want to show, then save it as a file, then attach it to your reply as above.

I'm not seeing anything in the error log, and I personally haven't had any problem connecting. I'm trying to see if the host can find the problem by giving them the dates and times that people can't connect.

Thanks Jim. I am still the the unable to connect a lot of times as of this morning. I am still going through my logs and trying to figure it out. I do not have a problem loading any other site. It might be me isp causing it also.

Happened again around 935-936 EST. The attached error was from Chrome.

Still trying to duplicate it on my home PC when it's acting up at work. Unfortunately the problem comes and goes so by the time I switch over to test it's frequently working already on the work connection.

Does this only keep you out of the forum, or the whole site? If you can go to www.therangerstation.com, but you can't get to www.therangerstation.com/forums, then I can try to narrow it down.

Not sure yet. Also on the list of things I've been trying to confirm. Kind of frustrating that it stays down for a short and unpredictable amount of time. Making it hard to do much testing.

I have had the most trouble loading forum topics in the new post sections more than anything. I can get to the regular forums most of the time.

Happened today about 2:00 pm CST. Firefox updated this morning. I had been browsing TRS without incident, clicked on another thread, then this happened.

Grabbed a screenshot, waited a couple of minutes, was then able to access TRS. Navigated to this thread and hit reply - lost the connection a couple more times on the way, but it was okay after a brief wait both times.

Getting this too on occasion. Mostly use Firefox, haven't tried in chrome to see if I get the same.

Don't know if this helps, but...

When this happened to me today I happened to have the forum open in one tab and tech library open in another. When I got that error screen on the forum I switched over to the other tab which was on "How-To" section, from there I clicked on the "Ranger Specifications" link and it loaded the same page in screen shot that saskbill posted.
