Howdy fellow Ranger Nuts!!

Yep... I'm a nut. Grew up in a Ford pickup and finally got my own at 51 years of age. It's not the old classic I wanna rebuild but one day that dream will happen.

For now I am blessed to have purchased my deceased motorcycle mentor's 2003 Ford Ranger XLT 4×4. A beautiful green with matching canopy. 5 speed stick takes me back to my youth... lol.

My friend Shell picked one up for her birthday this month and knew I was after seats so she sent me here. What a great looking group!!

Looks like a great forum. Looking forward to learning from you all what I can and maybe passing along something new along the way.

I'm a lifelong Seattle area lady. My fiance and I own 5 motorcycle and we are always out having fun.

NOW I GOT A TRUCK FOR MORE FUN!!!!! SO EXCITED!!!

Roll on... TJ

Well now ya went and did it... they really are fun useful little trucks. Before you know it... you will probably have another one... or two.

There is a lot of information in the Tech Library. You can decode your VIN... axle tags... tire calculators... many modifications and probably even a .pdf of the owners manual if there wasn't one in the truck.

Does it have a 4.0L?

The early 4.0L SOHC had some issues. It's better to be aware then to let things go south if it's preventable.

Glad you're excited about your new truck and welcome to TRS...

Fortunately it is a 3.0L. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Welcome to the club.

Thank you. That's what's great about this site, you get to see so many different ways that a Ranger can be modified. There is no limitation to creating your perfect truck, except in the mind of the individual's creativity. I've found that I am always thinking about what I want to do to my truck, all it takes is imagination and Money, lots of it. You'll find out just how addictive it gets ! Enjoy !!

If you’re excited now, look what’s in your future if you watch your Ps & Qs!
