so i was talking to this girl i know who just got a new shevy, and bought a bottle of armorall, so i decided to tell her all about how it dries plastics out and tends to crack things, now before i go any further, i know there are lots of people who swear by it, i personally do not, i will never use it... please don't try to preach to me about it, thanks.

there are much better alternatives that make your dash look like it has been armoralled, without the greasy, attracting lint effect, nor the drying and damaging aspects of it, what do you guys use? i can't for the lift of me, remember any of the brand names...

ees a turtle wax product aye? i like turtle wax

303 aerospace protectant. Its the $hit.

I stick with mud. It protects from all the elements, self cleans over time and needs to be reapplied though. It dries things out a little too.

froggy, i know what you mean... i did this in october? maybe november... this is STILL how it looks...

here's the video of me doing it: at 2:06, watch the back drivers side tire, there's a big splash that goes in my window, soaking me and the inside of my truck...

anyone know anything about mink oil or something along those lines? i've got mink oil and one more bottle of something that has a little bit of mink oil in it and other stuff, i forget what it's called... they are leather oils... i would tihnk they would help rehydrate the plastic...
