Hi , I'm Jerry .I need help.I have A 91 Ford ranger with a 2.9 v6 .The engine is bad, I also have a 85 ranger with a 2.8 v6. Can I change the fuel injection from the 2.9 on to the 2.8 Thanks for any help

in a word....NO. it is not possible, you got 2 different motors....you could pull the 2.9 and convert to the 2.8 but i dont know why you would want to do that, i would either replace the 2.9 with another 2.9 or with a 4.0.....

2.9Ls are not hard to find in the junkyard. That's by FAR the best option.
