how the hell are you supposed to get it out? i got it like half way out but the inner piece is bigger than the hole it has to go through. do i have to break it or what? thanks

Pics?

Is there a metal clamp around the opening that you need to take off?

Pull harder. It is a pain in the dick, but that's the only way to get it out.

i put it back in for now cuz i had to drive the truck. theres no ring or anything holding it. its just one side is too big to fit through the hole. i pushed it from the front (intake side) to the back (throttle body side) and it went half way but wouldnt go anymore

It says he has a 97.. The baffle removal is for the pre obd2 trucks.

Use a 3" piece of PVC or 3" exhaust pipe, you will have to stretch the rubber tube on the smaller side.

did it on my 97 b2300... it's on 98+ trucks that they don't have it..

Just force it out.. It wasnt that hard to do on mine I used a flat screwdriver and a hammer... don't be afraid to destroy it if it won't come out..

Those are pics I took to compare..

Also, try the opposite side intake hole looks bigger than the TB side..

well i got it out. used a baseball bat to push it through the intake side. i went on a test drive and didnt notice any differences. not even anymore noise

yeah it doesnt make a difference what did you expect to happen after removing a small piece of plastic from the intake hahahaha

well i wasnt really expecting much. i just did it cuz it seemed easy enough. but the point of it is to reduce noise and i didnt even notice any more noise
