Ok im new to the ranger. But my question that i cant seem to figure out yet and im hoping somebody else has run into it and came up with a solution is, I have a 96 ranger and i swapped in an instrument cluster out of a 95 explorer so i could have a tach, well everything seems to work fine except the tach reads wrong about 500-1000 rpm difference. The explorer was a v-6 also which mine is a 3.0 and i believe it was a 4.0 that i took it out of. I also had tried a cluster out of a 99 explorer and the tach worked right out of it but the gas gauge and temp gauge was off really bad so thats why i thought maybe the 95 woudl work better. Yes im alittle ocd about some things like wanting my tach to be right and i dont want to install an aftermarket tach i liek the stock look inside. Any help would be greaatly appreciated
