Am I correct in assuming that for the bezel the 83-84 was the same, 85 was a one year only, and 86-88 were the same? And for the cluster itself it was 83-85 and 86-88? I'm trying to figure what year cluster w/tach will work in my 87.

You need an 86-88 to work right. You might have to modify the circuit board to get all the warning lights in. A lot of early ones didn't have the CEL bulb cut out, so if you have one and want to keep it you just need to take a razor and open the hole.

Mine has an emission light and a check oil light, but no cel. I do know that I'll need the plug for the left half of the tach cluster.
