My friend is selling his bazooka sub and an amp that I dont know the brand of for 25 dollars. I want to buy it but am wondering if I could install it on a stock 99 f-150 xlt without having to buy a new deck or any thing?

you dont have to. my room mate wired up his amp like normal, but has the input connected to a regular speaker wire going to one of the speakers in his SUV. he's got the stock head unit, but upgraded speakers and hasnt had any sort of problems yet.

go to walmart or an audio store there cheap 20-30$ all you do is hook it up to your rear speakers and hook your rca cables up to the converter

Bazooka tubes have that built into them. The little harness they have has wires that you connect to the rear speakers, and wires you run to power and ground. They are designed for simple install for those who want to add bass but don't want all the work of a fancy sub/amp/deck setup.

Sorry for total noob here. I searched around but couldn't really find out how to do this? Can someone give me maybe a step by step on how to do this. Maybe I should just take it somewere and get it installed if its not to much.

The bazooka im not sure why I said amp in the title of the thread I meant sub and amp lol.
