Installing 5.0 Obx headers into 1998 torsion bar Ranger

Got my set, came with a free manual trans shift knob for some reason... maybe got someone elses box?

Looks good to me, attention to detail is as expected, header bolts fit in all but one hole, should be fixable with a prychiseldriver... the single piece pipe for the drivers side front cylinder doesn't match up too great, but a couple C clamps or my press should be able to fix it up.

If you only have those couple of issues by the time you get them installed. You got a really good deal on them.

Yeah, I figured there'd be more issues once I get tearing into it, that'll be a few weeks since I have to wait for time and weather to cooperate at the same time... But I am more experienced with making things work than I believe the average amazon or ebay reviewer is... haven't made a set of headers fit before, but make exhaust stuff at work for the engine dyno's all the time (ok, not as much lately but have done a lot in the last 12 years)

Still not sure what the deal is about the shift knob, but I'm not going to ask, it might end up on the Ranger...

No, life has gotten in the way... it's on the list but I've been working on getting a flat spot for my shop build. I want to, could use the extra fuel mileage that it's supposed to add but haven't had a weekend to dedicate to the project since it stopped raining...
