i just picked up a auto specialties 20% underdrive crank pulley, what all do i need to do to install it, includiding tools i will need? also what size belt will i need after the install? i have searched the forum for the answers to my questions and cant find anything specific.

go from the bottom less work just find the right size socket take the belt off and the pull off and thats it well and install new it took me 15 mins and for the belt i just took string and ran it the way it was suppose to go and measured it and you auto parts store can get you the right size my was smaller because i had taken my air off to

i was looking at going from the bottom but i think my i-beams are gonna be in my way. when you did yours did you have to pull the fan and the shroud

i didn't remove anything but the belt and the old pulley

The one im looking at is only the crank driven one....where can i get the other ones?

got the pulley on, now im battleing the water pump

If you're putting a pulley on the water pump, you'll need to remove the fan and shroud. Unless I'm just reading it wrong, and you're having problems with the water pump itself.

As far as I know, the only place that sold more than the crank pulley has now closed. The crank pulley is where you get the largest gain though. The water pump pulley was the same size as stock, just made from lightweight aluminum, instead of steel. The alternator pulley was actually an overdrive pulley designed to return the alternator to it's factory speed.

no all i got was the crank pulley, im trying to change the water pump itself but am having problems getting it off. also jet performance sells a set of pulleys for the 3.0 if that helps
