So i had my fuel pump go out and i checked my relay and the switch with the tab on top. my inline pump is bad. Problem is it is bolted to a plate to protect it, i unbolted the plate from frame but cant get it out to where i can get the pump off my plate. do i need to remove front drive shaft to get it out cause the only way i see it making enough room to work. Any ideas or help???? But like i said the relay and switch is fine and the pump and sending unit in my tank is new i just put it in yesterday!!

The plate is a pain, but it can come off with the drive shaft in, I've done it before. Been a while though.
