Just curious if I can take injectors from a 5.0l and out them in a 3.0l? If so would I gain anything? I'm just biding my time till the 3.0l dies and I will be swapping the entire powertrain/drivetrain from my donor Mountaineer into my B series.

I don't know if it would work, but there is nothing to be gained by it.

The computer measures the air coming in and adds the appropriate amount of fuel, bigger injectors don't get you more fuel, and more fuel just uses more fuel. It won't create more power without the air to use it.

To add on to that, the higher flow the injector is, the more the ECU would have to compensate in order to keep your fuel/air ratio ideal. The injector pulse width can only be modified so much before the ECU can't trim it anymore and you will start to run rich. For example I think the stock fuel injectors on my truck are 12lbs injectors and I have a '94 3.0
