Quick injector question...

Are the pencil style injectors from a 99 Cobra interchangeable with the older fat style injectors besides the difference in electrical connector?

Im not worried about the physical height or length, but Im not sure about the electronic side. I know there are saturated and peak & hold setups, but I don't know what a 95 Ranger 4.0 or a 99 Mustang uses.

I have been offered a free set of 24 lb Cobra injectors, which would be the perfect size for my 4.0 build, but not sure if my ECU will run them.

Don't mind the typo in the title...lol damn phone case makes it hard to type.lol

If you mean the EV6 style injector, yes they are electronically the the same as the EV1 injector used in your 95.

What about impedance? I think the Ranger 14.4 ohm and the EV6 may be 12.2?

The more I read the more details I find, but also the more people i see saying that they work.

I'm running an '01 SOHC (EV6 injectors) off a '95 OHV computer (EV1 injectors) with no problems.
