I have a 2.5L motor out of a 99 ranger that I am putting into a Pro 4 sprint car. Does anyone know what may need to be done to convert the intake from fuel injection to carberated? I believe I have to get a new EFI system like an MSD for timing and spark as well as a coil pack? Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

You will need a manifold from esslinger or speedway motors, and a stand alone ignition system, from Msd that will use a coil pack and the crank angle sensor,with an adjustable advance module, since you have no counter balance shaft to drive the distributer,you may want to check the rule book first, there are strict rules depending on what class your running

Can I use the crank angle sensor that came with the motor? Thanks for the feedback.
