I am putting a 4.0 radiator into a truck with a 2.3. Does anyone have and info on what hoses to use? I am assuming just piece a bunch of different hoses together to make them work but if there is something out there that fits close without to much modification I would rather go that route. Thanks for any help!

The 2.3 radiator hose location is opposite to all other Fords. It would be easier to fit an all aluminum SBC radiator than the 4.0.

actually no... the radiator hoses from an 87ish thunderbird turbocoupe fit about perfectly. The thunderbird only had one radiator for it so when they put the 2.3 into it they just made different hoses. I'm using the lower in my truck right now and the upper is just something i made fit, but when i need to replace it i'm gonna try the upper from the turbocoupe.

I have to put a 4.0 radiator into the truck. The truck is a desert truck and has a single swing steering set up on it. On the 2.3 the lower hose is on the passenger side which is right in the way of where the steering singer needs to be mounted.
