Inexpensive way to lower a 93 2wd?

Bought it a couple months ago, looked OK with large diameter tires, but with the engine not running real well (since been improved) it didn't have enuf power to pull up a grade in 5th, so put stock diameter tires on it.

Now it looks like there's about a foot gap above esp the rear tires. :annoyed:

AFAIK it's stock 2 wd suspension.

Any "stock" / inexpensive springs out there that would lower it a few inches?
Then I could also hook my bike trailer to it without buying a drop hitch.:icon_thumby:

With that type of front suspension, I suppose lowering the front end would screw up
the alignment? I don't know enuf about that setup to know if or how difficult it would
be to correct alignment with a lower ride height.

Anybody know what I could do without spending a fortune in aftermarket parts?
