Incredible Ranger

Yeah, looks tacky. Look at how the brush guard is mounted, it has a stick-on cowl, stacked blocks, stock radius arms, hideous interior.... I'd gut the thing, rip lift off, sell the wheels and tires, strip almost all the add-on crap off the exterior, and start over. Yeah, I'd rather start with a stock truck for all the work it would take to make that thing into a useable truck and not just a street queen. Only thing I like is it's clean, straight, and has good paint.

I'd give 1500 for it, pull the add ons off, put my drivetrain in it, and run it.

The brush guards came stock on the Rangers like that. Those bolts go right into the frame to hold the bumper on too. The rear bumper and roll bar are possibly stock too.

If I was to buy it for that price, I'd tell him to do it right.

The grille guard, rear bumper and rollbar all look like stock STX parts.

They were factory options on the 87-89 STX. The rollbar and pushbar lights and switches are stock too.

It also had the high-rider package. If you look at the radius arm crossmember, it still has the high-rider extensions.

I never thought about the switches that is kind of cool to still have them.

I would love to find the factory grille guard and rear tube bumper for mine.

Best I can do for you is the roll bar and lights, but shipping might get expensive. :D

If i dig around I may be able to find the switch set. I think I kept them when I scrapped my 89 STX.

I already have a rollbar, it isn't the STX one but I like it because I can have the bar that the lights mount on upside down and have rear worklights that don't get snagged on trees or garage doors. I have a plate under my dash with gauges and switches on it so I really don't have anywhere to put the factory switches either.

Thanks for the offer though :icon_thumby:

I might be interested. :D

why would someone redo the interior yet leave it that fugly red??
i mean over all its not that bad... but its a show truck. period... see the white skid plate and the thing under the rear diff (i'm not even gonna call that a skid)..

take some of the azone and jcw stuff off of it and it might be decent.. but would need some other touch up to. like the blocks...

I have the STX highrider grille guard and light switches and a roll bar but they aren't going any where. Not to mention the Visor/ spoiler thing. ( I still don't know what to call it)
