I am having problems getting the intake manifold off my 99 3.0. I have already disconnected all the lines ad taken all of the bolts out. I also removed all the push rods and rocker arms. It sounds like it is hitting something on the rear passenger side of the vehicle. It just so happens that's my dead cylinder is it possible something is bent preventing me from removing the manifold?

It's possible something is bent. It's doubtful that is what is preventing you from removing the manifold. The push rods are the only moving part that pass through the lower intake.

It's more likely that it is just caught on something. Try to run your hand around the area where you think it is stuck and feel for obstructions. If you don't find any pull harder.

I've not seen a 3.0 in a long time, but is that area not where the distributor is and and if so is it not attached to the intake?
