Hey, i'm new to the site, and i was wondering what i should do with my truck. It's a 98 XLT extended cab w/ the 4.0. THe problem that i'm having is that i dont know what to do with it. I've always been a fan of low riders, and I know that my truck is relatively easy to lower with the IFS, but my problem is the front grille guard.... When i got the truck, it was a farm truck and they put a guard on the front after they hit a deer with it, and in doing so cut up the front bumper pretty bad.... so w/out it it would look pretty bad. I was looking around and i saw the pre-runners, and i think that they look pretty sweet, and i was wondering which would be ""easier"" to do....lol. any tips on what i should do?

i would drop it... just because i am not so much a fan of pre-runners (to each his own tho) and i think its easier to drop, to a certain extent..

Building a pre-runner is extremely expensive from what I've gathered... although my next truck is going to be slowly turning into one... they're just too darn fun :D

lift it.... way more fun. and if you lower it, you gotta be carefull about bumps, curbs, etc. etc.... its way more fun just to run that stuff over.

Honestly its all about personal preferance, me i have a 2wd and its lifted? But thats just cause i like to go out and play in the mud. Both ways would look good, and no matter what way you go good luck with the build.
