I recently installed a 4 inch suspension lift on my '86 4x4 ranger. and now i need longer front brake hoses. and was wondering what my choices are? other than the stainless steel lines (pricey) I saw on the tech section where a guy put two hoses together but i think i would rather have a once peice hose. and will moving the hose hook up to the rear side of the spring pearch be enough or should i just skip that and get longer hoses? where do you recommend? thanks

heres what i did because my 6" skyjackers weren't long enough.

Also check out andysautosport.com they have longer lines that aren't that much

i have a drivers side extended line im selling. I broke the passenger side one. PM if you are interested.

Thanks for the pics. I may do that but i checked out that site and they have some good prices. I do have a question though. I think i may have measured my hoses wrong. Do you just measure the hose or the hole hose and line? I measured everything and got about 24 inches and that site listed, showed up to 20 inches.

Yeah, they maybe cost a few $$ but they are worth it. They make a huge differance in the brake pedal "feel". Much less spongy feel. Don't forget, this is the brakes you are dealing with, the most critical system of any vehicle. Don't cheap out and hack something together.
