I'm sick.

I have temp of 102f ...... thats saying something because my normal temp is 96.2f. I my sinuses feel like i have been mule kicked in the face. My eyes hurt. I have a headache ........ and I feel like somebody is slowly turning a dull drill bit in the back of my head at the base of my skull ........ plus my nose has been running like a faucet for 3 since friday........

I need a Jack and coke..... or a captain and cola.........

Sounds like you need something stronger, lol.

For the record, I did sit down one time after being sick for a couple days with a high fever with a fifth of jack and bottle of Pepsi. Got good and drunk and crawled off to bed. Woke up about 16 hours later and found that the fever was gone and I was feeling much better.

Hope you get better man, I enjoy seeing your input on things around here.

No wonder you grounded your kid for being 5 min late. Jeeeesh!
102 with sinus is a good indication for H1N1 if it keeps up go see your Doc!

I would force myself through work week and on the last day I would buy a 5th and a 2liter on the way home ...... get piss drunk and pass out ...... wake up the next day right as rain....... now all I got is the green death flavor that doesn't work anymore since they went from 100 proof to 20 proof.

I see your plight... I think whiskey works best, I've tried Vodka (bear in mind, I don't often chose this sort of method, just when I'm fed up with being sick and nothing else has been working), but it just doesn't seem to work as well, even with a high proof rating.

You could always look for a bottle of Tullimore Dew... good Irish whiskey... really smooth but burns like no other.

I see your plight... I think whiskey works best, I've tried Vodka (bear in mind, I don't often chose this sort of method, just when I'm fed up with being sick and nothing else has been working), but it just doesn't seem to work as well, even with a high proof rating.

You could always look for a bottle of Tullimore Dew... good Irish whiskey... really smooth but burns like no other.

the 100 proof NyQuill Green death flavor worked.... worked well ..... you took that and went into a comma for 8 hours......

I just took a double shot of Green death, a Vicoden, and 1200mg of Ibuprofen...... my liver hates me........ and I am still wide awake ....... not even drowsy...... although the pain is receding slightly ...... but not totally.

I remember my experience with Vicoden... after my accident, took one cuz my back was killing me. Didn't seem like it helped really any. My buddy in a neighboring apartment stopped by to say they were having a bonfire so I went and killed a 6-pack or so before going back to my apt for the night. I didn't make it to my bed, halfway across the floor I dropped, lol, just like someone flipped a switch.

Never again will I try that. Apparently sometime while I was out I managed to drunk-call a couple friends, who were not impressed. I didn't remember it in the morning.

sounds like its time for some good ole homemade whitelightning it always works for my neighbor down the street he would get drunk and sleep outside in his truck with the windows down and id hear him at 5 or 6 in the morning and he would be running around doin yard work like a new man. alcohol kills germs and bacteria on the outside of your body so why cant it work on the inside???

Last time I was sick and decided to drink it away I almost died...... of dehydration, I had the flu and ended up with a stomache bug to boot (and no it wasn't that I can't hold my liquor, I've never gotten instant whiskey sh!ts and vomiting simultaneously from drinking/ not even while sick), that's when you just lay in the shower with it running. I was so sick I had to call my boss to bring me sprite/gatorade/soup/pepto bysmal/ and some kind of anti diarretic. I couldn't leave the bathroom long enough to drive to the store.

I came very close to going to the hospital because I was so weak and it frightened me living alone.

you know what I hate most about being sick ... the sudden uncontrollable urge to poo ...... and the 30 sec you have to get to the toilet before it starts coming out.
