I just bought a new Kicker 8" L7 and ive got a 83 ford ranger reg cab with bench seat and I dont think it will fit, does anyone have suggetions? Im thinking of selling it now ive got 185 in the thing and Id let it for 125.00 so I could get shallow mounts

I have the shallows and they fit great!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would suggest u do the same!!!!!!!!!

try and make it fit? if you don't have passengers that are really tall, or don't have passengers that ride a lot, put it behind them and push their seat up. idk what else to tell you besides play around with it.

lol L7 and shallow dont fit in the same sentance. but pushing 4.75 inches insnt that bad but with 1.5inches of box and clearance of the sub pounding adds up quickly.

the only thing i could think of is have it face the back wall and the kinda shaped like a "C" so it gets out and use the taper of the back of the sub. and have the box lean back.

but yea that a big hunk of sub to fit back there
