My home is in Oak Harbor WA but I'm working in Arlington OR. I picked up a nice 83 Ranger 4x4 that the previos owner put 302 into. The engine is worn out, probably due to high revs. Other than the V8 and body lift it's all stock. In about a week I'm going to take the recently rebuilt 302 out of my 70 Rustang, swapping the cam, and putting it in the Ranger. I would like to swap in an overdrive automatic in place of the C5. I happen to have an AOD that is currently in the Rustang. Will a 1350 T/C bolt up to it? Has any one used any overdrive automatic in their Winsor V8 Ranger with the 1350 T/C? I'd love to take the whole drive train from a full size truck. But you know, time and money. And I'm trying to make the truck at least road worthy in my week off work.
