Hi all. I am new to TRS, but have been peeking at the site for a month or so. I took on an 89 long bed grandpa truck. Guy before me was a body & fender man, but not much on mechanics. the truck looks like a million with custom (but sedate) two-tone paint and a really tired engine. This si about my 34,000th truck, but pulling the engine and poking around it without committing to a rebuild leaves me kind of liking the design work. anyone with first year 2.3L dual-plug warnings is welcome to weigh in and tell me more about what I am playing with. 34,000 might be an exaggeration, but my first truck was '36 Ford and not yet considered an antique when I had it.
