Im Back!! and motivated

You need to flip the driverside steering bracket 180* so the bracket "Taperes" are pointing to the rear of the truck. Once you flip it you will use all 3 steering box bolts. That will give you the clearence you need. For the pitman arm you need a stock one and for the pitman arm and spindles you will need to drill out the spindles and pitman arm. You have 8 sets of 3/4" to 1/2" spacers right? You will need to drill out the pitman arm and spindles to 3/4" then weld in a 3/4" to 1/2" sleave then double sheer.... Also the tie-rod with more bend goes to the driverside spindle just incase you mixed them up and both bends face forward.

F-ing sweet it is looking awesome, I think I will be able to come out and help you sunday. I kinda want a closer look at you rad arms and see how you mounted them. Still thinking of doing my d44 swap into my 87.

well that makes more sense as far as the steering bracket. Yeah the stock one i got from teh member here is the wrong size splines. The one that came with my truck is a drop pitman arm for the lift that was on it so i gotta find a stock replacement now. Yes i have 8 sets of 3/4-1/2" misalignment spacers. I was kinda figurin i would have to drill them out. DO you have any sleaves or a place i can pick them up? if i have to, i have a friend that could tune down some tube on a lathe to make a couple sleaves. Yeah, they are still marked from when you sent them out. the one with the most bend is on the driverside.

haha thanks alden! the mounting bracket is pretty simple for the rad arms. Im not sure if ill be workin on the ranger this upcomin weekend. i really want to but the GF has been left out the last two weekends so i need to spend some time with her. Still have your beams, axle and gears :D

All you need is some 3/4" 120 tubing then cut it down to size. If you want you can just drill them out to 5/8" send me 3 sets of the spacers you have back to me and Ill send you out some 3/4" to 5/8" spacers...that way you dont have to weld in a sleeve.

ok. ill just use the 3/4 120 tubing. Im sure i could use the sleaves on other things as well down the road :D

Yeah i'm soo glad the a/c in my ranger works great lol. Any idea when your ranger will be done? Are you going to cage it?

yes it will be fully caged front to back. Its gunna be a full out race truck for the desert. ill be racing in the 7200 class. I hoping if funds stay as good as they are in a year but we shall see. if i get some stuff paid off sooner it should be done quicker

Cool I understand the lock down issue. it seems like for every project I get done for my self I have to due three for her. Her damn kitchen is still in the way of my truck. But when ever you want my stuff out of your A/Ced (green with envy right now) let me know I should be able to roll that way about when ever. And maybe I can score a seat in your ride if everybody goes on a trail ride. Again her damn kitchen is killing my projects.
